Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is a government road construction company started in 1960. BRO is responsible for delegating and managing the construction and maintenance of roads that lead upto the border of our nation. The staff of BRO consists of a number of administrative executives, marines, engineers, chefs etc. Apart from construction, Border Roads Organisation also handles infrastructure needs of these areas and the Government of India and Ministry of Defence maintains oversight of their operations.
