Transforming the rudimentary operations of Delhi Vidyut Board (DVB) in 2002, The Government of Delhi under NCT Undertaking introduced The Delhi Transco PSU. The Government decided to debunk the basic operations of DVB to private firms and corporations, leaving power supply demand and subjugation services with Delhi Transco Limited. It now is responsible for installing, maintaining and coordinating high power networks for Delhi Region.
