Delhi University (DU) can certainly hold the title of being India’s Most Popular Government University. Established way before India’s Independence i.e. in 1922, DU has transformed into a well known brand in itself. St. Stephen College, Hindu College, SRCC, Hansraj and Ramjas are just few of the many well known colleges where both students and teachers are dying to learn and teach.
With 80+ colleges, more than 1,50,000 regular students and around 2,50,000 students in the distance learning stream, DU certainly stands a class apart. There are 2 separate campuses, namely the North and South Campus, housing multiple libraries and the government has lent quite a few resources in terms of first editions from notable authors, journals, research papers, novels etc.
