This region produces 60% of India’s coconuts cobras and these abundant supply of shells are of exceptional quality.

ECOCARB, is the first of its kind , a coconut shell based activated carbon with Reduced Green House Emission, having the entire operation which consists of charring the shells in the reactors and steam activation in the rotary kilns all located in one location. The company is in the process of registering this operation as a CDM project under UN Kyoto Treaty for Climate Control.
