About Us

Established in 1988, JD Institute of Fashion Technology (JDIFT), Pune is one of the leading
fashion institutions in India. The Institute is one of the 26 campuses across India that offers
courses in the field of Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Fashion
Communication, Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurship, Fashion Business Management, Visual
Merchandising, Fashion Photography, and Hair and Make-up Artistry.
It has a long array of famous alumni who have marked their presence in the fashion design
industry – Rocky S, Shane and Falguni, Reza, Gaurav Chabra, Urvashi Kaur, Niket Mishra,
Maheka Mirpuri to name a few. The Institute also provides students an international exposure
through its JD Global Programme. JD Global allows students to work under exemplary industry
leaders, fashion houses, design firms as well as international institutions like UAL, London and
take part in collaborative works ranging from sustainable fashion to innovative interior design,
spanning across continents.
The Institute has collaborated with a number of acclaimed global as well as Indian institutions
and Associations, including Cumulus, Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Indo

(Education Quality Accreditation Commission), KOEFIA, National Design Institute, University of
the Arts (London College of Fashion), India Fashion Week London, WGSN, Adobe, and IIID to
provide a truly global, inspiring, and forward-thinking set of programmes. JD Institute of Fashion
Technology, Pune, offers facilities like Library, Labs, Cafeteria, Wi-Fi Campus.
The main institute JD Institute of Fashion Technology has been recognised with several awards
