Since Jammu and Kashmir has a Separate Constitution in comparison with India, they needed an autonomous Public Service Commission. Hence, in the year 1957, following the creation of the J&K Constitution, Jammu and Kashmir PSC was formed. The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is responsible for recruiting candidates for various government positions and is required to unbiased while recruiting candidates in every way possible.
