National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) was institutionalized with the help of public and private sector companies. In order to create a centralized Biotechnology centre, The Ministry of Biotechnology under the Government of India combined resources with Agri-Food Biotech Park(ABP) in order to create an advanced in research facility focusing singular on Biotech Research and Development (R&D) Programmes. These programmes are now integrated and have reached a new level over the years.
