About Us
In 2013, The Government of India decided to launch a nation-wide family health and safety programme concentrated on the Rural Areas under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was born. NRHM focusses mainly on educating the people residing in rural areas of all the states about pressing family health issues like Family Planning, Health Care, Home Remedies, Contraception and HIV Preventive Measures. In order to increase accountability, The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has been divided into various small subunits like NRHM Bihar, NRHM Andra Pradesh etc.
