Established in 1976, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) is one of the largest government PSU that controls and maintains all the major power and electricity consumption units of eastern states of India. NEEPCO works under the Ministry of Power and is responsible for supplying, distributing and managing all the electricity transmission wires in the eastern states. NEEPCO currently is responsible for supplying 55% of the entire consumption stature.
