Osmania University is a public state university located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Established in 1918, it is one of the oldest universities in India and the first to be established in the erstwhile princely State of Hyderabad. It has contributed significantly to the academic and economic development of not just Telangana but also Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs across various disciplines such as Arts & Humanities, Science & Technology, Commerce & Management Studies etc., with over 300 affiliated colleges spread across 10 districts of Telangana.
