About Us
SCCL is a government-owned coal mining company in India. It was established in 1956 and has since become one of the largest coal producers in the country, with an annual production capacity of over 35 million tonnes. SCCL operates more than 30 opencast and underground mines across four districts in Telangana state, providing employment to thousands of people from nearby communities. The company also provides various social welfare initiatives such as health care services, education support programs, housing schemes for its employees and their families. In addition to this, SCCL is committed to environmental sustainability through reforestation projects and water conservation efforts.
