The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) is an autonomous body established by the Government of India to promote quality education in the country. It works with state governments, universities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to develop curriculum standards, design teacher training programs, conduct research on best practices in teaching and learning processes, provide technical assistance for school improvement initiatives, and more. SCERT also serves as a repository of information related to educational policies at both national and state levels.
