About Us
Sunjewels is a Corporate Group engaging 1,100 associates between three jewellery manufacturing facilities located at SEEPZ Zone in Mumbai and diamond facilities in Gujarat, India. Sales offices in America and Europe service our customers who are reputed brands, wholesalers, and retail chains in over 15 countries.
In 2011, the World Economic Forum recognized Sunjewels as a Global Growth Company. We have also consistently received the highest financial ranking from Crisil (a dvision of Standard & Poors).
Being at the forefront of innovation, we invented the process of wax setting in the early 1980’s and hold various patents and trademarks. Since 2001, Sunjewels has implemented Japanese KAIZEN systems of cellular manufacturing which have enabled us to work with reduced lead times helping customers to lower inventory levels. Our operations are managed by SAP software across Group locations.
Our material sourcing is compliant with ethical guidelines like the Kimberley Process and the management strictly prohibits the use of child labor as a core culture at all the facilities. Since 1991, we have introduced instructor-led Yoga routines for all the associates resulting in enhanced health and better work performance.
