Tribal co-Operative MArketing development Federation of India Ltd. is a govt company came into existence in 1987. We are working at a national level and governed by Govt. of India for helping tribal people. We work for this people by giving them 'MFP' is Minor Forest Produce resources from where they can earn their livelihood. We at TRIFED, are always ready to help poor & needy people by giving them training in every possible manner. Our prime objective is to improve their source of income by improving their efficiency & giving them MFP training that is the only & important factor for Tribal people earning. We organize many non-harmful harvesting ways, increase their quality, handle their overall development. TRIFED also sponsor Research & development programmes which are controlled by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India. The main objective of R&d is to re-develop 'Non-Timber Forest production' by giving appropriate technologies & less harvest cost. Tribal Co-operative marketing development also introduces MSP (Minimum support Price) scheme in order to save tribal people from getting exploited by big companies who take advantage of their innocence. The purpose of introducing MSP is to give a right path to Tribal residents to ensure a quality return on their investment. Minimum support price gives supporting hand to tribal dwellers where they can sell their MFP with safe environment & assured return.
