WWF India's mission is to stop the degradation of our planet’s natural environment and build a future where humans live in harmony with nature. The organization focuses on four key areas: species protection; habitat restoration; climate change mitigation; and sustainable livelihoods. Through its various initiatives such as Project Tiger, Ganga Action Plan and Marine Turtle Conservation Programmes, WWF India has been able to make significant contributions towards conserving biodiversity in the country.
