About Us

Since 2004, The founders of Aarathy Trust had been travelling and volunteering to many safe haven houses in and round Chennai. Those humanity care offerings have been the idea in the back of the begin of Aarathy Charitable Trust and Idhaya Vaasal Elders Home. The Trust and Home had been commenced in January of 2008. This was once a dream infant of the founder of the Trust, S. Parthasarathy (aka) Service Sarathy (Late). Sarathy, being an fantastic provider volunteer he taught and guided social offerings to many youths. Now the domestic is persevered to run in the way he shown, in reminiscence of Service Sarathy.

WHY WORK FOR US

Aarathy Trust is also involved in many enviro - health - educational services and social upliftment of poor. We admit destitute elders rescued by volunteers from street sides and received here with police general memo.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOUTH

The poor and needy patients are also admitted with the reference of NGOs and distance relatives as guardians. To all the elders treated well with proper medical and bed-care support, irrespective of caste and creed. Now in the old age home 40 elderly residents living with us and 13 of them are bed-ridden patients.
