Air India is the national carrier of India and a member of Star Alliance. It was founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines, making it one of the oldest airlines in Asia. Air India operates flights to over 100 destinations across four continents including Europe, North America, South East Asia and Australia. The airline has an extensive fleet consisting of both wide-body aircraft such as Boeing 777s and narrow body Airbus A320s for short haul routes. In addition to passenger services, Air India also provides cargo services with its dedicated freighter fleet operating out of Mumbai International Airport.
