About Us

Established in 2006, The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company, popularly known as Mahatransco is one of the most prominent Electricity and Power Distribution and Transmission Companies of India. MSEB is assigned the task by The Government of Maharashtra to provide and distribute electricity to various areas situated in Maharashtra. Mahatransco is also responsible for maintaining a check on distribution panels and areas suffering for electricity deficit.

a wholly owned corporate entity under the Maharashtra Government, was incorporated under the Companies Act, in June, 2005 after restructuring the erstwhile Maharashtra State Electricity Board to transmit electricity from its point of Generation to its point of Distribution.
